This 1 Day Kettlebell Instructor Course is a great introduction for fitness professionals wanting to teach Kettlebell training. It covers all of the Foundation drills (2 Hand Swing, 1 Hand Swing, 1 Hand Snatch, 1 Hand Clean, 1 Hand Press, 1 Hand Squat, 1 Hand Turkish Get Up) plus some progressions/variations of these drills.
Kettlebell Instructor Training Course Aims:
The Aim of ‘Kettlebell Training’ is to provide a comprehensive practical overview for fitness professionals of the background, science and application of Kettlebell training.
Objectives: By the end of the course attendees should be able to:
1. List and practically apply the safety considerations of training with a Kettlebell
2. Demonstrate the correct techniques for the foundation Kettlebell exercises (Swings, Snatch, Clean, Squat, Press, Dead lift, Turkish Get Up)
3. List teaching points for each of the foundation drills
4. Implement progressions, regressions and remedial drills for each of the foundation exercises
5. Design and apply basic Kettlebell training programmes

Practical - Competent demonstration of Kettlebell exercises and verbal questioning of foundation understanding and applied knowledge
Theory - completion of theory assessment - 40 questions
Coursework - Theory Worksheets (Foundation understanding, safety, history and applied knowledge)

Kettlebell Instructor Training Entry Requirements
To qualify for REPs CPD attendees should possess:
- Level 2 Gym Instructor or Studio Instructor Qualification minimum
- Valid REPs membership
This course is open to fitness enthusiasts not on the Register of Exercise Professionals, but certificates will not include REPs CPD Points.
