To produce a plan for a 25-30 minute micro-teach session that identifies; the session's learning outcomes and gives a breakdown of teaching, learning and assessment approaches and tasks to be used to ensure that the learning outcomes are met and achieved. Delivery of a micro teach session followed by a self assessment based in the feedback from the tutor and peers.

Delivery: 2 days (18 hours classroom based + private study)
Using workshops, seminars, group and individual tutorials, the course is delivered by a well experienced teacher trainer with a background in Ofsted and senior management in the further education sector.
The focus of the course is based on reflective practice whereby trainers review their professional skills and experiences and build on these to help make them effective practitioners.
You will find the course supportive and enabling, equipping you with the basic tools and skills to become a trainer. It will also help to prepare you, as a learner in the lifelong learning sector, to have the confidence to progress to the level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) teaching qualification in order to enhance your own personal and professional development.
