ABRASIVE WHEEL TRAINING COURSE

Course Syllabus Includes:
* Identification of abrasive wheels
* Types of abrasive wheels
* Storage requirements
* Dressing of abrasive wheels
* Personal protective equipment
* Basic use, hazard awareness and safe operating practices
Legal Requirements:
Under current legislation, including PUWER 98, all employees involved in the use of abrasive wheels are required to have received suitable and sufficient training, authorised in writing.
Training is to be refreshed every three / five years as stated by the HSE.
