What topics are covered by the course?

There are three units to complete, each carries a number of credits. You do not need to complete all units, but we recommend that you do complete them all to ensure you are fully qualified: Unit 1: Understanding the principles and practices of assessment (3 credits)- does not require practical Unit 2: Assess Occupational Competence in the work environment (6 credits)- requires practical Unit 3: Assess Vocational Skills, Knowledge and Understanding (6 credits)- requires practical

The Assessors course is for anyone who is wishing to become a qualified NVQ assessor under the new QCF

What will I be able to do on completion?

Upon completion you will be fully qualified and job ready to work as a qualified NVQ assessor in chosen field/ sector.

How will I be assessed?

Once you are registered, you will receive your Bright online log in and mentors contact details within 4 working hours, enabling you to start straight away. Your Bright mentor will then call you to introduce him/herself within 48 hours. You will work through a series of modules and complete activities at each module. You can contact your mentor at anytime for help and advice.
