Participants will be able to identify the causes and types of infection.
Participants will be able to identify diseases caused by infection.
Participants will understand optimum conditions for growth and identify routes of transmission.
Participants will be able to describe the chain of infection.
Participants will have an understanding of good practice in infection control.
Participants will be able to identify specific infections associated with the Health Care environment
Participants will review knowledge and understanding of Legislation and Organisational requirements including the Health and Social Care Act 2008
