By the end of this workshop delegates will be able to:
Describe how leadership differs from management
List and describe the qualities displayed by good leaders
Describe how to ensure all tasks undertaken are achieved with maximum effectiveness
Describe how leadership style should change according to each situation and the development level of the individuals involved
Explain when to try and influence circumstances and when to walk away
Describe methods for influencing the thoughts and behaviours of others
Describe different attitudes to change, particularly reactions to imposed change, and how to energise people to overcome barriers to change
