Introduction to Coaching and Mentoring
This course is aimed at people of all levels who will be in a coaching or mentoring position. It is designed to introduce the mentoring process, and help people understand and feel comfortable with the mentor-mentee relationship.
The course includes a mixture of presentation, discussion and group activities, particularly in the ‘Coaching Conversations’ section.
Objective: By the end of the course, you will:
• Understand the role of coach / mentor and the skills required
• Be able to carry out coaching conversations
• Be able to deliver feedback
• Be able to break down tasks and effectively explain them
