Learn about:

•Resuscitation
•Causes and treatment of unconsciousness
•Control of bleeding
•Identify and treat various injuries, including: fractures, dislocations, burns, electrical injuries, spinal injuries etc
•Treatment of shock
•Understanding and reducing risks of rendering first aid

Assessment:

Delegates are assessed by independent assessors. Students will be required to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the principles of first aid at work order to receive a ‘First Aid at Work Certificate’, which is approved by the Health and Safety Executive and valid for three years
