• Accident investigation, recording, reporting
• Policy
• Promoting a positive health and safety culture
• Principles of control
• Monitoring, review and audit
Controlling Workplace Hazards
• Movement of people and vehicles
• Work equipment
• Fire
• Physical and psychological health
• Electrical
• Chemical and biological health
• Construction activities
Health and Safety Practical Application
There are two written papers:
Paper 1: Management of Health and Safety
Paper 2: Controlling Workplace Hazards
The time allowed for each paper is two hours. There is a practical examination using a College workshop to record observations, backed up by a written report to management
