Day One: Delegates will be better placed to manage the more complex wounds, and to advise others on the management of chronic wounds.
Delegates will achieve a greater awareness of the complexities in leg ulcers so that they can treat or refer patients appropriately and safely.
Day Two: This course will provide the delegate with theoretical knowledge and awareness of the Practical skills and responsibilities involved in leg ulcer assessment, diagnosis and treatment. It will include a practical session to develop awareness in Doppler assessment and compression bandaging. This will ensure that the patient will receive prompt, appropriate and safe leg ulcer management in accordance with national guidelines.
