How will I be assessed?

The candidate is assessed by a range of assessment methods which include observation, prior learning,course work,witness testimonies and any other appropriate methods.

The level 3 award in assessing competence in the work environment is made up of two mandatory units which are:

Unit 1: Understanding the principles and practices of assessment with a credit value of 3

Unit 2: Assess occupational competence in the work environment with a credit value of 6

Trainee assessors are suppose to complete 54 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for this course. The course has a total QCF credit value of 9.
