Course contents:
Identify the hazards associated with confined spaces
Understand the relevant Health and Safety legislative requirements
Select, wear, check and use the correct personal protective equipment
Identify known and unknown gas atmospheres
Check, use and respond to atmosphere monitoring equipment
Understand and work to a permit to work and safe working procedures for confined space entry
Inspect, clean, assemble, don and wear breathing apparatus
Work as a member of a team and implement a safe exit in the event of an emergency.
