This one day programme examines the key skills that make effective leaders, supervisors and first line managers. It describes the issues we have communicating effectively and exposes personality traits that will ensure your communication is more efficient and that you are aware of different personality traits that can cause communication issues.
Additionally, motivational theories are challenged and you will identify the key motivators that can be very powerful tools. Delegation skills are reviewed including the cycle of delegation that when used ensures tasks are conducted efficiently and effectively.
Conflict in teams can cause huge consequences in organisations and we look at why conflict happens and effective assertive techniques that can be used in conflict situations.
Optional accredited units offered by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) may be used to compliment this programme at an additional cost.
