Management Development
The Mdina management programmes are designed around the appropriate 11 principles of management, helping managers achieve their results by “doing” less and managing more (see the Activity Trap).
11 principles of management:
•Planning
•Structure and organisation
•Recruitment and performance
•Training and development
•Motivation
•Evaluation and control
•Delegation
•Decision making
•Discipline
•Communication
•Time management
DAMACA is a fundamental belief that underpins all development programmes delivered by Mdina and helps to bring clarity to any situation.
Direction What are we trying to achieve?
Accountability What is our role in that direction?
Measurement How are we measured in that role?
Authority What is our level of authority?
Communication How do we communicate?
Attitude What is our approach?

The cornerstone of the management development programmes is the on-going review and development of the team members that include the key learning points from the programmes.
The learning points can be designed into the Mdina Development Action and Results Toolbox (DART) which ensures that the organisation gains long term benefits, protecting the development investment.
Our programmes can be endorsed by the ILM or the delegates can gain ILM qualifications to level 5 in Leaderhsip and Management.
