First Aid Appointed Persons Certificate

This course contains a minimum of 6 hours tuition. This does not include time allocated for breaks, which is left to the discretion of the client. Candidates will receive a One Day Appointed Persons Certificate.

Course Syllabus
*The course is predominantly practical based.
*First Aid scope and aims and protocols.
*Analysis of "Approach to an incident".
*Treatment of the unconcious casualty with demonstration / class practice of the recovery position.
*Asphyxia (choking, smoke inhalation etc.) with demonstration of treatment.
*Practical demonstration of resuscitation and class practice of CPR.
*Control of bleeding, recognition and treatment of shock with class practice.
*Accident book and contents of a first aid box.
*Review and feedback session.
