This qualification is designed to assess competence in Construction Site Supervision. Learners can prove knowledge, competence, understanding and skills, measured against the National Occupational Standards, proving their competence and ability to employers and others.
This qualification is available in a number of pathways - BUILDING & CIVIL ENGINEERING, HIGHWAYS & MAINTENANCE REPAIR, RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT, CONSERVATION, AND DEMOLITION.

Further Details
The Learners are assessed in the workplace and via our e-portfolio system. Learners will have one to one sessions with their assessor and submit evidence for assessment through our e-portfolio system. Support and guidance are available via our e-portfolio system, email and telephone in addition to the meetings with the assessor.
To achieve the qualification the learner has to achieve between 123 and 131 credits, depending on which pathway they choose. All the pathways include the 6 Mandatory units, which total 61 credits, with the remainding credits being obtained from the units relevant to the pathway.
Companies who are "in-scope" to the CITBConstructionSKills may be eligible to apply for a grant towards the cost of this NVQ.
