The RRC NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health provides a sound introduction to the fundamentals of occupational health and safety. It looks at the management of health and safety, as well as considering the best approach to controlling a wide variety of workplace hazards.
The NEBOSH International Certificate achieves high standards of health and safety - regardless of any local legal requirements. The course incorporates International, technical and other standards (ILO Codes of Practice, for instance) where they exist. In other cases, UK requirements and practices that represent ‘good practice’ are followed.

Who should study?
It has been designed specifically for managers, supervisors, employee representatives and anyone needing to make health and safety decisions at work.

Entry criteria
There are no formal entry requirements but a good standard of written English is essential.

Assessment
The assessment consists of an examination and a practical health and safety assessment of a workplace.
RRC currently provides examination facilities in London and Bahrain. Alternatively, RRC can arrange for examinations to be sat at many of the British Council Offices throughout the world, with the Practical Assessment undertaken at your place of work.
