The course covers all the basics and fundamentals of cutting and colours through a hairdressing NVQ. More emphasis is based on the practical side of things and you will always work on live models, something we feel separates us from other colleges and academies in London and the surrounding areas.

Providing you are in a salon you will attended the academy once a week on a day that suits us and you employers. Our courses start at 10am and finish at approx 4.30pm. You will need to provide practical equipment. You will be provided a Hair Project t-shirt and will wear this to the academy. You will work ONLY on live models (for colour and cut). Once you have completed your NVQ you will be awarded a City & Guilds NVQ and a diploma from The Hair Project itself. If you are currently not in a salon and would still like to get into hairdressing this is absolutely fine as we can help you find a salon and get you access to an interview.
