Terrorism Awareness
A one day course for delivery to members of the security industry or those engaged in front of house interaction with the public. This can either be via face to face or handling of mail. This course gives an introduction to terrorism, the threats posed and how, the actions to handle potential threats.
A two day course is also offered for managers which addresses on day one the threat posed, identifies the risks to their company, the systems to set in place to minimise the threat. Day 2 is set aside for if external delivery to introduce a scenario to test learning, identify the actions to be taken by the manager who has control for the first hour of the incident. To then explore evidence preparation/gathering and court procedures.

Further Details
The two day course can be sub-divided. When Day 1 is successfully completed a BTEC level 2 Certificate in Terrorism Awareness is awarded. Day 2 is an extra part of the course to ensure that the needs of the client have been met.
