Course Content:
● Totals - Create Totals queries that consolidate data by grouping categories in order to produce totals.
● Calculations - Understand the idea of a using a Select query to build calculations using data from one or more tables. This will involve using text, numbers, dates and functions.
● Parameter Query - Build queries that request criteria at the point of being activated. This could be a date range or price range or product code etc.
● Crosstab Query - Create a basic cross-tabular query to show totals across a range of categories.

Module 3 - Intermediate/Advanced Level
Aim:
To learn how to consolidate information by category using totalling methods and create bespoke calculations using a range of criteria. Also how to minimise the number of queries created by using a generic query.
Duration:
Half a day (9:30 am to 12:30 pm or 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm).
Who Should Attend:
Those who are familiar with creating basic select queries that will extract data from multiple tables but now need to calculate data and produce consolidated totals.
