Course Style
The course follows a practical workshop format for groups of up to 15 delegates. The content is delivered via a mix of teaching, practical exercises, team activities, workshop
demonstrations, group work and assessments at our state-of-the-art training facilities. Enabling delegates to learn the principles, work through examples and then apply handson
to a real install in our facility. Our assessors observe and assess the activities to confirm that delegates meet the required level of competence. Comprehensive support and
guidance is given throughout.
Who should attend:
Anyone intending to become an accredited installer of Solar PV systems, Franchisees, Roofers, Electricians Engineers or Builders. The course is designed to give an overview of
Renewable Technologies followed by a comprehensive description of a domestic Solar PVInstallation from survey, through to commissioning and handover. We also provide access to specific vocational training such as IEE 17th Edition.
The course is delivered onsite at The Renewable Energy Academy, Durham and the Sharp Renewable Energy Academy Wrexham
Outcome:
Those who successfully complete the course will achieve our certificate in Domestic Photovoltaic Systems Installation and become a REA Accredited Installer.
