You will work in a purpose built bay with external and internal angles and a window opening. The course modules will include:
1. Preparation of walls and ceilings.
2. Application of backing coats, including bonding and browning.
3. Fixing plasterboards to walls and ceilings
4. Application and fixing of various angle beads and stop beads
5. Application of finishing plasters and skims to a professional finish on walls, Ceilings, internal and external corners and windows.
6. Correct methods of patch and repair to existing walls.
7. P.V.A treatments and tips of the trade
The above modules are covered on our 5 and 10 day courses with a scaled down version available on our 2 day weekend courses for D.I.Y purposes.
Shropshire Building Skills will give you the confidence to tackle any project with complete confidence.Training starts at 8.45am until approximately 4.30pm. All tools and materials will be supplied and we have an on-site tool shop for all candidates to purchase new tools at trade prices if they wish.
