Electrical Safety Course Overview
Every year, around 1,000 accidents at work involving electricity and are reported to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), and tragically, about 30 people die as a direct result of electrocution. This means that every day, three people accidentally come into contact with electricity and that every single month, two people die - the dangers of electricity cannot be minimised, and we at Total Electrical Training have developed an intensive 1 day training course covering electrical safety.
The course deals with and in detail, into wide-ranging guidance on “how to be safe” when dealing with electricity in the workplace. Basic electrical safety when inspecting or dismantling electrical equipment is also covered, as well as safe isolation of live supplies. Some underpinning knowledge enabling delegates to safely undertake minor fault finding tasks forms part of this important course, as well appreciating correct safety procedures when dealing with electricity.
