Your Trainer:

Susan Ricketts is a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Stress Management Therapist and Life Coach. Susan completed her training at the Kent Hypnosis Institute and has been working within the holistic industry with clients since 1999.

Susan is registered with The Hypnotherapy Association, and is on the National Hypnotherapist register with the UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations.

Susan specialises in the field of thought therapy, known as Cognitive Therapy. Helping clients to understand the principle of - "we feel and behave according to how we think" - and Susan has a natural ability to bring about symptom relief and promote wellbeing. Susan also teaches Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to enhance any therapist treatment package.

Susan recently undertook a University Degree in Teaching in the Life-Long Learning Sector and having obtained the DTLLS qualification, teaches for the Kent Hypnosis Institute.

As a qualified teacher, Susan is a member of the Institute for Learning and is dedicated to Continual Professional Development within all her practice fields, which she believes allows her to continue to offer the most up-to-date and relevant treatment plans.

Susan also worked at MidKent College as a Personal Tutor, supporting and teaching over 120 students on an annual basis. Teaching the elements from the "Every Child Matters" Policy, including subjects such as: Study techniques, dealing with stress, STi's, alcohol, self esteem, smoking, CV's, interview techniques and health and safety to name a few. The role also included working with parents, agencies and staff members whilst dealing with various issues experienced by the students, from child abuse to teenage pregnancy. During her time at Midkent College, Susan completed additional training for Child Protection issues, Behaviour Management and Brain Friendly Learning.

A five day course in the New Year starting on Fridays 21st January to 18th February 2011 inclusive.

The course is being hosted by Valerie Lowe of Natural Health House in Ashford Kent and presented by Susan Ricketts (see her information given in the course description)

Each day will start promptly at 9:30am and finish at 2:30pm
