WHAT IS SPIRITUAL HEALING
Spiritual Healing is a natural, energy therapy that complements conventional medicine by treating the whole person including mind, body and spirit. Healers are trained to act as a channel for healing energy, which is perceived to be of either Divine or Universal origin, depending on the healer's own belief system. The benefits of Spiritual Healing can be felt on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels, while the healing energy itself is often experienced as a relaxing and comfortable warmth. Healing is a safe and effective therapy and can be applied to the very young, the very old, animals and even plants with the same beneficial results
COURSE SYLLABUS
The following is a simplified overview of what actually happens each term. Great emphasis is laid on personal growth during this course and it is inevitable that this will lead to many discussions and interesting diversions during the year, but as it also leads to beautifully rounded and compassionate healers , that can only be for the good o all concerned.
1ST Term Autumn 2010
-Journal Keeping.
-The Code of Conduct and aspects of the law that affect healers. Confidentiality
-The subtle energy systems. THE AURA AND THE CHAKRAS IN DETAIL.
-Aura Reading.
-Grounding and centring.
-Opening and closing down.
-Attunement.
-The healing act.
2nd Term Spring 2011
-Protection or Blessing?
-Developmental ages of the chakras.
-The metaphysics of healing.
-Practice Spiritual healing.
-Creating an Altar.
-Discussions on the strengths and weaknesses of each chakra and how that affects you personally.
-Counselling.
-Telephone Counselling.
-Meditation.
-Professional Practice-
3rd Term Summer 2011
-Ho to deal with specific problems should they occur during healing.
-Basic animal healing.
-Visit to heal horses (outside of class time).
-Revision and looking at past exam papers.
-Practice Spiritual healing.
-Visit to White Eagle Lodge (outside of class time).
-Depending on the numbers in the class two or three classes may be taken up with the individual oral examination.
