Benefits of this course

In today s world most accounts are recorded on computer. In this module you'll learn how to operate a computerised accounts package from the begining or develop your existing knowledge. The units offered are aimed at those who wish to use Sage Instant Accounts.

The course is divided into five lessons, each of which covers different topics. The first four lessons deal with a single business and work through an accounting period. You will learn how to start a set of accounts, enter bank and cash transactions, set up suppliers and customers and deal with credit purchases and sales, reconcile the bank and produce a simple set of final accounts for a sole trader.

Lesson 5 covers a separate business, showing you how to enter opening balances and to deal with adjustments and year end processes. If you can already operate a computerised accounting package but need to revise or develop further skills this is an excellent course and qualification to add to your CV.

The course uses Sage Instant Accounts software. This is ideal for the beginner and can be used later on with the Diploma in Payroll Management. The tution fee includes a fully licensed version of the Sage Instant Accounts software.
