Personal Safety (Bespoke)

Topics covered in the course include:
1. Understand how to keep yourself safe and P.L.A.N. to apply this to their working life.
2. Have gained knowledge and confidence in the practical application of the Dynamic Risk Assessment.
3. Recognise the risks in their working environment and be able to conduct on-the-job risk assessments which can reduce the identified risks and promote their safety.
4. Understand their legal role and responsibilities with regards to their own health and safety and that of others affected by their work.
5. Recognise key support systems, back in their workplace, that contribute to their personal safety and identify any actions to be taken to assist their organisation to develop or improve those support systems to meet the needs of Lone and Mobile Workers.
6. Recognise potentially aggressive situations and understand how to diffuse and resolve conflict.
7. Understand the legal statutory requirements with regards to incident reporting and what to do following an incident.
8. Have gained an awareness of the various support mechanisms available after an incident has taken place.
