Simply Relaxing (Afro Hairdressing) - 3 Weeks (1 evening per wk)
The Silk Trends Academy ‘Simply Relaxing' module has been designed as an introduction to Relaxing Afro Hair and covers all the essential foundation skills needed to provide Relaxing services. All aspects of relaxing hair including relaxing, texturising, finishing, and styling techniques will be covered.
The course is an ideal way to gain the confidence to work with Afro and mixed textured hair. Class sizes are kept low, max 5 students per session, to ensure you get the support you need.
Simply Relaxing (Afro Hairdressing) module
The course is delivered as a 3-hour evening course, 1 evening each week for 3 weeks, and is an ideal way to gain the confidence to work with Afro and mixed textured hair.
Duration: 3 weeks (1 evening per week – 6.30pm – 9.30pm)
Next Course Starts: Various dates through the year
Experience: Must have a NVQ Lvl2 Hairdressing or working towards this qualication.

On successful completion of the course, students will receive the Silk Trends Academy ‘Simply Relaxing (Afro)’ certificate.
Our tutor is a qualified Lecturer in Hairdressing and NVQ assessor, with over 29 years experience in the hairdressing industry. The course is design to National Standards and will act as sound foundation to offer Afro Hairdressing Services.
