This course focuses on realistic 'workplace learning'. It will consist of observing the delegates; giving them feedback and agreeing specific action plans to be implemented during their one-to-one sessions. By working individually with each delegate, the focus will be on developing their mentoring and coaching skills, energising their teams and improving performance. It will enable them to develop their own coaching skills, build a winning team and add value to business.

Course Overview
At the end of this realistic 'workshop learning', delegates will be able to:
* Understand the benefits of mentoring and coaching
* Develop their team using practical, effective coaching methods
* Name the 2 main styles of coaching and give an example of when each style should be used
* Explain what an effective coach needs to 'bring' to their coaching role
* Describe what a coach should aim to achieve with good questioning and listening skills
* Delegate to develop their team
* Provide constructive feedback to enable their team to build on their strengths, achieve their full potential and make a significant contribution to the business
* Communicate your performance expectations more effectively
