Most people at some stage of their career will find themselves needing to speak in front of a group of people. Presentations have become an everyday part of business life and often determine the fate of a project, idea or a sale. However, to be successful both the presentation and the presenter have to make an impact. This introduction course covers all the basic elements of successful presentation preparation and delivery allowing participants to return to their workplace feeling more confident and empowered.

* Prepare a presentation which meets the needs of your audience.
* Structure a presentation to gain impact and interest.
* Use effective non-verbal communication to look confident and credible.
* Handle question and answer sessions concisely and confidently.
* Make best use of visual aids to support your presentation.
* Recognise the symptoms and effects of anxiety and develop personal strategies to control them.
* Identify your personal strengths and development needs in presenting to groups and generate a personal action plan to carry on improving your skills.
