Essential skills in coaching
This University of Cambridge course provides students with the vital communication and inter-personal skills necessary for establishing and maintaining an effective and developmental coaching relationship. Through critically evaluating and analysing coaching situations, students will develop their skill in the application of coaching approaches, and selecting and using appropriate coaching techniques.

This course is part of the Certificate in Coaching awarded by the University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education.
The course is comprised of a 2 day, non-residential workshop on the 23rd and 24th November 2010 followed by a period of on-line study. Attendance at both days of the workshop is required, and if you wish to study for credit, assessment for the course will be through written assignments to be completed by the end of the course. This course is worth 20 credits at FHEQ level 4.
