This course aims to introduce managers, at all levels, to the different aspects of managing safety and health in the workplace. The course introduces the multi-disciplinary nature of health and safety at work and covers a range of common workplace hazards.

To achieve the IOSH Managing Safely award, you will need to successfully complete the following elements:

· Reactive monitoring
· Risk assessment and risk control
· Active monitoring
· Review and audit
· Health and safety legislation
· Managing Common Hazards: Fire and Electricity, Work Equipment, Noise, Manual and Mechanical Handling, Housekeeping, Permits-to-Work, Chemicals and Substances, Display Screen Equipment, Construction, Confined Spaces and Food Safety
