By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
• Describe the differences training can make to an organisation and individual’s performance
• Differentiate between a variety of training methods and use the most appropriate one when required
• Explain and understand how people learn in different ways
• Describe the make-up of a good trainer
• Make sense of a Training Needs Analysis and conduct a Training Needs Analysis within their team, department, function or organisation
• Research and design a training activity and use a variety of different methods to complete a training activity in the workplace
• Critique a training activity and make relevant changes to it
• Construct an evaluation process and use the information it provides to improve overall performance of the trainer and training sessions
• Read body language and understand what it means
• Improve their presentation skills through self analysis and more successfully manage a variety of people in a group situation
