The Silk Trends Academy ‘Simply Braiding (Intro)’ course has been designed as an Introduction to Hair Braiding and covers all the essential basic skills needed for hair braiding.
The course is an ideal way to gain the confidence in braiding all types of hair. Class sizes are kept low, max 6 students per session, to ensure you get the support you need.

Introduction to Braiding workshop
The course is delivered in one session (on a Sunday) using a mixture of theory and practical methods, and is an ideal way to gain the confidence in braiding hair.
Duration: 1 Sunday session (10am til 4.30pm).
Next Course Starts: Various start dates throughout the year.

Prepare Hair for Braiding,
Braiding Products and Tools,
Single Braid style (natural),
Single Braid style (with extensions),
Cornrow style (natural),
Cornrow style (with extensions),
Sew-in Weave Track (single track weave extension)
On successful completion of the course, students will receive the Silk Trends Academy ‘Simply Braiding’ Diploma.
Our tutor is a qualified Lecturer in Hairdressing and NVQ assessor, with over 29 years experience in the hairdressing industry. The course is designed to National Standards and will act as sound introduction to Hair Braiding.
