There's much more to Microsoft Outlook than email and this course will take you through the MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) syllabus to ensure you really know how to get the most out of it!
You'll need to invest approximately 20 hours of study time at the Pitman Training London, (High Holborn) training centre to complete the 14 lessons that cover the following:
Lesson 1: Starting Outlook 2000, Overview - Desktop Information Manager, The Outlook 2000 opening screen.
Lesson 2: Using the Office Assistant, hiding the Office Assistant, finding out what is on screen, getting help without the Office Assistant.
Lesson 3: Microsoft Outlook and Messaging Systems, Inbox Information Viewer window, Standard and Advanced toolbars, Folder List, Column Buttons.
Lesson 4: Creating a new message, addressing a new message, applying enhancements, adding a file attachment, adding a signature, spell checking your message, sending a message.
Lesson 5: Reading mail messages, forwarding a message, opening an attached file, finding a message, setting message flags.
Lesson 6: Displaying the Address Book, displaying different Address Lists, finding names in an Address List.
Lesson 7: Creating a new Contact, editing a Contact, adding a second Contact from the same organisation, deleting a Contact, tracking activities with Contacts, sending a vCard, sorting Contacts, manually recording an activity in a journal.
Lesson 8: Scheduling an Appointment, Calendar Views, moving, copying and deleting Appointments, setting recurring Appointments, scheduling events, customising the Calendar View.
Lesson 9: Inviting users to a Meeting, removing attendees, cancelling a Meeting.
Lesson 10: Create a new Task, working with Categories, marking a Task as completed, sorting the Task List, deleting a Task, moving a Task to the Calendar, assigning Tasks, declining Tasks, viewing Tasks.
Lesson 11: Writing a Note, editing a Note, changing the look of Notes, displaying Notes, finding and organising Notes.
Lesson 12: Creating a new Office file within Outlook
Lesson 13: Defining print styles, previewing your Calendar, printing your Calendar, printing an email message.
Lesson 14: Creating Folders, moving a message to a Folder, deleting messages in a Folder, setting Archive/Delete options. |
