Racking Damage Awareness Training by SEMA Approved Racking Inspectors
The RPM Racking Damage Awareness course deals with training your own staff, in your own workplace, to be able to understand the current legislation with regards to inspecting Storage Racking.
After the classroom briefing in the legislation covering Storage Equipment, your delegates with then be trained how to recognise damage and how to evaluate/categorise damage.
This theoretical training will then be followed by practical training and evaluation in your warehouse.
Following the course, your delegates will be able to assess their own racking for critical damage and take the necessary action to ensure that the racking is emptied and made safe.
The training includes for each delegate to be tested in order to achieve "competent person" status. A competency certificate will be issued which would be valid for 12 months.

Practical
- Go out into the warehouse and inspect for damage
- complete the standard forms
