This course describes alternative project execution strategies that have procurement implications, the pre-qualification process including evaluation and short listing, the development of bid lists, the enquiry and bidding process, bid evaluation, leading to contract award. The course will describe the process from both the client and contractor's perspective. Lastly, it will examine the different requirements of contracts, specifically liabilities on clients and contractors and explains how these are used in practice on both sides on projects.
