Creative textile design : 3 day Summer School
Designing to Stitch
August 5th 6th & 7th. 10am-4 We will be using experimental art and design methods to create designs on paper to develop into textiles your own discipline. suitable for fashion, interior design and creative embroidery.
This course is suitable for all levels,
from beginners to the more experienced . Foundation students and teachers will particularly benefit.

3 Day Summer School
Day 1: We will be freely exploring colour and shape
to express mood.
On day 2 simple methods are used to
transfer your work onto fabric
Day 3 is given over entirely to stitch or free machine embroidery to enrich the surface you have created. There is an added bonus of trying out a design on vanishing fabric.
This course is suitable for all levels,
from beginners to the more experienced
The course includes the attention of 2 tutors with skills in the different aspects of designing for textiles. Some specialist materials and refreshments are also included
