This is a theory course and is designed for all care staff, domiciliary and day care staff and healthcare assistants which work within social care services. It will be invaluable for carers, supervisors, trainers and managers working with older people and vulnerable adults and service users living in their own home. It will give learners the underpinning knowledge and appreciation of the different approaches which can help you understand an individual's experience and be able to manage their care more effectively.

The course is 3 hours contact time in length and can be delivered at one of our training centres or at a venue that is suitable to you. Ongoing assessment throughout the course is carried out by the trainer. The course outline is listed below.
