What you will study
Motorcycle workshop environment studies
Remove and refit motorcycle components
Diagnose motorcycle faults
How you will learn
Candidates’ knowledge will be enhanced by a mixture of classroom work and practical assignments in the College’s motorcycle workshops.
How you will be assessed
College based practical assignments are carried out, and knowledge is assessed by a series of multichoice examinations. Assessment also takes place in the workplace and will cover seven mandatory units:-
Housekeeping
Health and safety
Working relationships
Remove and replace components
Routine maintenance
Fault diagnosis
Inspect vehicles
Plus two of the following options depending on work opportunities:-
Enhance vehicle system features
Overhaul basic electrical units
Valet vehicles
Process payment for purchase
Place goods/materials in storage
