How you will learn
You can enquire at any time at our main College site or at the skillsXchange and you will be invited to meet a tutor who will give you a start date. You will then join one of our lively and informal classes, working both as part of a group and as an individual to develop your skills.
How you will be assessed
Your progress will be reviewed throughout the year. You will be assessed in different ways depending on which qualification you do. Assessment may be a test at the end of the course, or assignments marked by people from outside College.
Entry Requirements
You do not need any qualifications to enrol on this course. You will have a one-to-one interview and an assessment of your skills before you start. Following assessment, we will guide you in choosing the best qualification and level for you.
Attendance
You will normally be expected to attend one three hour session per week, during the day or evening. Different qualifications take different numbers of hours to complete. We will advise you how long your course will be.
