What you will study
To achieve the Certificate you must complete 4 units:-
Unit 1 – Understanding the Legal and Business Context for Road Transport Operations
Unit 2 – Understanding National Road Haulage Transport Operations
Unit 4 – Managing National Road Haulage Transport Operations
Unit 6 – Managing International Road Haulage Transport Operations
How you will be assessed
All units are externally assessed by OCR-set and marked timetabled examinations. The examinations for Units 1 and 2 consist of multiple-choice questions; Unit 4 consists of a case study with extended answer questions; the Unit 6 examination involves short answer questions.
Entry Requirements
This qualification is available to anyone who is capable of reaching the required standards. It is designed to be free from any barriers that restrict access or progression thereby promoting equality and diversity.
There are no formal requirements for entry to the examinations. Candidates will be expected to have a standard of literacy and numeracy and a level of industry knowledge appropriate for a person working at Level 3.
Attendance
The course duration is 5 days with a further day for examinations.
