This short course will introduce you to Personal Development Planning (PDP) underpinning the full Foundation Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

How you will learn

This is a traditional classroom-based course, incorporating information communication technology (ICT). A wide range of teaching and learning methods such as lectures, workshops, discussions, case studies, practical exercises and tutorials will be used to meet your requirements and link your workplace experience to theory and knowledge.

How you will be assessed

Assessment will involve producing a portfolio of evidence complete with a reflective statement of 2,500 words (15 credits).

Mature applicants (over 21) who do not have the appropriate qualifications should contact the tutor.

Applications are welcomed from persons who can demonstrate relevant work experience (including voluntary work) and may be admitted on the basis of non-certificated experiential learning. Claims for Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) and Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) are actively supported.

Applicants under 21 will need:-

* GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and normally in Maths too.

* One 6 unit qualification at Advanced level (GCE/VCE Advance Level or New Nationals) plus three other subjects at GCSE grade C or above.

* Relevant National Certificate/Diploma or suitable bridging course.

Students will need an appropriate level of literacy and numeracy to enable them to meet the requirements of independent study at this level. In the absence of formal qualifications students must be able to demonstrate appropriate levels of numeracy and literacy through the Wakefield College screening process.
