What you will study
You will study 12 units (equivalent to two A Levels). This consists of six end-user focused units and six practitioner focused units.

Unit 5 - Web Development
Unit 6 - Technical Support
Unit 7 - Using Database Software

How you will learn
Students will be expected to attend sessions that include both theory and practical using industry standard computer software and hardware. They will have access to the networking suite to develop their practical computing skills. Skills and knowledge are developed for each unit using research and practical activities.
How you will be assessed
There is internal assessment for nine out of the 12 units, which are assignment based producing an e-portfolio. The remaining three units are externally assessed via a practical time constrained assessment.
Entry Requirements
Four/Five GCSEs at grade A* - C including English.
OR
Level 2 Diploma at Merit. Functional Skills English at Level 2 and Functional Skills Maths at Level 1.
Attendance
You will be expected to be in College 14 hours a week for timetabled sessions.
