How you will learn
A range of teaching, learning and assessment methods. Work-based learning, home study, workshops and practical sessions are all features of this course, as well as working in local health initiatives.
How you will be assessed
Your achievement is measured through a range of coursework (essays, fieldwork, reports or other problem solving exercises) and examinations.
Entry Requirements
You should have a combination of academic qualifications, experience and motivation. Entry onto the course will be subject to an interview.
Those under 21 years of age should normally have one of the following qualifications as a minimum:
160 UCAS points from a suitable Level 3 course (A Levels, Level 3 Diplomas) + GCSE grade A* - C in Maths and English.
Students over the age of 21 are not always expected to have formal qualifications. Prior experiences will be taken into consideration.
