To provide an update on the changes and additions to BS7671 that have been made with the introduction of the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations. The course will familiarise delegates with the content, layout and application of BS 7671: 2008.

The qualification is assessed via a 30 question multiple-choice, 1 hour online examination.

Who is it suitable for?
For Electricians, Electrical Contractors, Domestic Installers and other allied professionals who have a working knowledge of the wiring regulations (16th Edition).

Course entry requirements
Delegates must provide evidence of one of five ‘industry approved’ course entry qualifications to be eligible for this ‘update’ course:
• City & Guilds 2381 16th Edition BS 7671: - achieved June 2001 onwards
• City & Guilds 2330-07, Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology Installation (Building and Structures)
• City & Guilds 2330-08, Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology Electrical Maintenance
• City & Guilds 2360, Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Installation Part Two— achieved 1st January 2004 onwards
• City & Guilds 2351, Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology Installation (Building and Structures) if achieved as part of an Electrotechnical Advanced Apprenticeship completed after 1st January 2004.

What is included?
City & Guilds examination fee, course notes and refreshments. A buffet lunch is also included.

What is not included?
A copy of the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations and a non-programmable calculator.
