What you will study
You will learn how to diagnose and rectify faults relating to vehicle engines, chassis systems and auxiliary systems. You will also study vehicle inspection procedures.
It is recommended that candidates also undertake Level 2 Key Skills qualifications as employers and universities are keen to recruit people with good number and communication skills.
How you will learn
Classroom work with suitable supporting workshop or other activities.
Four units of work will be undertaken.
How you will be assessed
Four multi-choice examinations plus practical workshop assessments.
Entry Requirements
NVQ Level 2 in Motor Vehicle Repair or extensive industrial experience.
