With increasing costs in the printing industry and a reduction in the price of colour laser printers and photo quality inkjets, many companies are looking at designing corporate material in-house. Stationery, fliers, posters, newsletters, magazine adverts and even websites can be designed by inexpensive software like Publisher.
By integrating text flow, high colour images, logos and charts into documents, professional looking documents can be created quickly and cheaply, and by using the basic photo editing techniques within Publisher, special effects can be used to really wow a reading customer. This course will teach not only how to get the most from this excellent entry level package, but also elements of good design to maximise the impact of corporate material
Trainees should be familiar with the Windows interface and with the use of the mouse and keyboard. No previous experience of graphics software is needed, nor photo editing experience. Bringing digital images and work related tasks can often aid in training examples and class discussion.
