Excel Level 2

In this course we build on the knowledge gained in the introduction level course to reach what we would call "office level" in Excel. By this we mean that delegates will be able to handle many of the features of Excel, including the built-in functions, and have a good stab at any feature they haven't seen before.
Trainees should be competent at the Windows interface and with the basic functions of Excel. Attendance on the introductory course would prove advantageous, but is not essential.

Excel has become a very popular package for controlling spreadsheet applications. Taking Excel beyond its ability to act as a simple table editor, the ability to sort and filter rows and columns proves useful as a database management tool, along with the addition of graphics, pictures and objects.
By linking these elements back to source applications, OLE links can be achieved for auto-updating of tabulated information or charts when prices lists change, accounts are updated or the source file is modified. Building on the basic application skills, this course also teaches how to include popular functions to perform automatic calculations as well as conditional data filters.
