How you will learn
All prospective candidates will complete an Initial Assessment for each of their 3 chosen Advanced Modules and must attain a minimum of 80% in each diagnostic test in order to be enrolled. This is to ensure candidates have the ability, equipment, software, time and motivation required to complete within the 60 weeks.
You will attend a face-to-face Induction session where the resources and methods of learning will be demonstrated and explained. You will be expected to be in contact with College on a regular basis, by email or telephone, to enable your tutor to monitor your progress, offer guidance and provide support. You will be sent additional tasks from time to time to consolidate your learning.
How you will be assessed
There will be regular opportunities for assessment of learning throughout the course. On completion of the module work for each Unit, you will come into College to sit the test. The pass mark for each live test is 75% and the duration of each test is either 45 or 60 minutes, depending on which Units you have chosen.
Entry Requirements
You will be expected to have passed ECDL or equivalent, with a tutor recommendation for progression to ECDL Advanced.
